Almost the same as the original. - Home Alone 2: Lost in New York Reviews

Don't judge a review by it's title, I still love this comedy. Maybe not as good as the first, for a few reasons listed below. 1. When Marv goes to the sink to turn it on he gets zapped. Kevin turns up the voltage level. I don't exactly remember how many volts it was, but I do remember thinking that the amount of voltage Kevin turned it up to would kill Marv, not just make his skeleton show. Still a funny part, though. 2. The plot is fairly the same as the original: Kevin is offended by Buzz, Kevin hurts Buzz, Kevin gets in trouble, he wishes his family was gone, he gets sepeated by his family, meets The Wet Bandits, finds out their plan, meets social outcast, they help each other with their problems, Kevin sets traps for Bandits, Bandits catch him, social outcast helps him, police arrest bandits, Kevin meets his mom then his whole family, he thanks social outcast, someone screams 'Kevin!!' and boom, the movie's over. These are a couple of reasons why it wasn't as good as the original. The traps Kevin sets this time are more deadly, sometimes so deadly they are unbelievable. Still a good comedy, though. People who liked the original Home Alone might be a little happy to see that the storyline hasn't changed much. To finish, this is a good sequel, but you probably won't like it as good as the original.
